Do you want closer mtn bike trails? Come to the next meeting and learn
that we may be able to do just that.
November meeting of WORBA/CORP will be this coming Tuesday night.
Location has changed for the winter. It will be at the downtown Madison
Public Library on W Mifflin, starting at 7pm. Check the board for the
room.
Maple Bluff has some land near Cherokee, and is very receptive to having
someone(WORBA helping?) develop this land into mountain bike trails. Some
tentative plans are for having Boy Scouts and High School(&UW) bike
teams help with the design and building of the trails, though it's still
in the preliminary stages. So if any of this sounds interesting, stop
by
for a short meeting that night. Jim Shuler from Maple Bluff who
informed
us of the possibility, will be there with maps, and information on what
we can do to get this started.
