It's time to start organizing for Bike to Work Week again this year (well, actually, I already have, but now it's time-past time, actually- for me to ask for help).
Bike to Work Week will be Saturday, May 17 - Friday, May 23. Last year Bike to Work Week encompassed an Art Bike Parade on the square during the farmer's market, a commuter race between bikes, bus riders, and car drivers (guess who won?), a series of great video presentations and guest speakers, and the Final Fiesta, of course, which featured bluegrass by the Yahara River Band. so if you think you might be interested in shaping Bike to Work Week this year, bring your ideas the Bike Fed Office (106 E. Doty St., Suite 400, right across from the Great Dane Brew Pub) 5pm Wednesday, 01/22/03. Beverages and snacks will be provided.
