Hey, hey, hey people! I've been busy, but let me speak my piece, because I can handle a whuppin.
I took the Sierra Club scavenger hunt event for what it was--trying to steer the younger generation to think differently. Impress on them that marauding the earth with a Hummer is not responsible behavior. Stretch their minds, encourage them to think greener and come up with better solutions in the future! If we can get kids to ask, "Why do we have to have that big vehicle?" then something is being accomplished. Because we all know the power of kids guilt-tripping adults. Little steps. First letting go of the big vehicle, then making the effort to cut down on trips, then living in a responsible way, getting rid of the three cars, learning about how emmissions effect our planet, saying "no" to the big hot tub and the 4,000 square foot house, embracing public transportation (oh happy day if we live to see it)...see how it all can add up? Now play nice and stick together when crossing the street. --Jody _______________________________________________ Bikies mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.danenet.org/mailman/listinfo/bikies
