I think what Mr Roach and others are most worried about are the east side and University Ave. Once you get east of downtown, there are many at-grade crossings. But as Matt has pointed out, that just means more places to chose to cross. The beauty of a grid system.
Of course in my neighborhood, people will be freaked about University Bay Dr. and to a lesser extent Shorewood Blvd. But fortunately, there are already several grade-seperated choices. Highland is only one block from U Bay Dr. There are various routes into Shorewood Hills besides Shorewood Blvd. - esp now that it is so easy to go straight through the new Kohl's, Borders, Walgreens development (not great for non-motorized folks, but easy in a car.) _______________________________________________ Bikies mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.danenet.org/mailman/listinfo/bikies
