Colin Campbell's theories on oil supply were
discussed in length in one of the last 12-page issues of the Wisconsin
Bicylist, whose now-discredited editor thought that stories of this nature
belonged in the newspaper of the state's leading bicycling advocacy
organizations. (He has since been sent to a reeducation camp to learn
about the importance to bicycling advocacy of Republicans who drive their SUVs
70 miles a few times a year to ride a two-mile mountain biking trail.) The
story's long, but worth reading. A few of the graphs are worth, as the
saying goes, a thousand words, or at least several hundred.
I just discovered this during an old e-mail
cleanup. I received it in May 2001. Comments contained in point 61
are very prophetic.
