I can tell you the Bike E that I have (the new Studebaker of bikes, now that the company went broke) will not fit on the front of Madison Metro buses. The wheel base is too long. Hopefully you will fare better. It is the ONLY downfall of my recumbent. (Oh yeah, that and the Bob trailer won't go on it unless I lose some gears. I need my gears to make me feel mas macho on those swooping curves via the Cap City Trail. If I want a trailer I have to get a different one.)
Nor does Metro take kindly to attempts to wrassle the 'bent critter on board--even at 5:30 in the morning when there are only 3 people on the bus. Armed with alternative transportation and therefore dangerous! It is a short wheel base model but I don't know if it will work with the rack system we have here (one big hook arm that swings up and over to secure the wheel.)
