05.27.03 So we're riding up King Street on our bike last week, not just because it was Bike to Work week, but because we're someone who really enjoys riding a bike, and it's a beautiful day, and we're thinking good thoughts, though it's a bit of a hill, you understand, so we're huffing and puffing and not going very fast, and this jerk in a snazzy new BMW almost sideswipes us, he's in such a fire-ass hurry to get wherever he's going. And of course we're a bit upset and startled, and truth be told scared, because the BMW was so close we could have reached out and scratched the paint, so we're not thinking clearly enough to get the guy's license plate number. But if you're out there, Mr. Sky-Blue BMW, know this: Your karma has a major-league dent in it.
