At 6' 9" wide (*excluding* mirrors) and 15' 10" long, the new Humvees won't fit in a parallel parking spot, either (and accomodate fewer people than the bike in the article). http://www.hummer.com/hummerjsp/h2/specs/dimensions.jsp Perhaps the city should start ticketing them for parking outside the lines whenever they are found in (well, actually, on) a city parking space with the painted boundaries obscured by these trucks.
