It was pathetic. Last night, I got to see a repeat of X-EPA administrator Whitman riding out to meet Dave on a Segway, showing up her ex-boss by demonstating that she knows how to turn the damn thing on and off. (The reason they say GW Bush fell off one a few weeks ago was because he didn't know how to turn it on.) For a person who claims to care about the environment to be promoting the use of an energy-using Segways over walking on national TV just shows her ignorance.
Then she defends the Bush record on the environment, and says she goes along with everything he says, including the Clear Skies plan. Dave asks her if GW believes GW is happening. Whitman's answers: Of course he does. Why otherwise would he have come out with a plan that reduces greenhouse gas intensity? Go figure.
