Hello Madison Friends, If you missed our first Community Car meeting and want to learn how Community Car works, our car locations, and our costs -- please join us. When and Where: 1. Monday, 7-8pm, August 25 at Willy St. Co-op, 1221 Williamson St. 2. Tuesday, 7-8pm, August 26 at Madison Senior Center, 330 W. Mifflin St. What's Community Car? Community Car is a member-based carsharing business for Madison, WI. Members share access to a fleet of high gas-mileage vehicles stationed in reserved parking spots in neighborhoods and commercial districts throughout Madison. Members get a key to access all cars in the fleet and reserve cars on the web or by telephone. You pay for the hours and miles you drive plus a membership fee. Insurance, gasoline and maintenance are included in the rates. We are starting service in September in downtown, near-east and near-west locations! Why Join? 1. It's economical. Drive an affordable, reliable car. 2. It's easy. We change the oil, wash and maintain the cars. 3. It's good for the environment and healthy for you.
