I think that's the $64,000 question that has been raised on the bikies
list: will the car-sharing program actually entice some carowners to get
rid of their motorized nooses in favor of this arrangement, or will it instead
mainly cater to people who don't currently have a car and who will use this
program rather than going without or renting? While I have never owned a
car (so I don't really understand the allure), owning a car seems to be
something people are really reluctant to give up once they've bought into the
hype. I hope I'm wrong and that this program will actually help some
people kick the habit.
