The Seminole Hwy bridge over the beltline will be closed to all vehicle traffic from today (Oct. 20) through Nov. 8.
The bicycle detour route is (from the North): At the Arboretum intersection with Seminole Hwy, go Left onto Seminole. Take the first Right at the Y intersection, onto Wanetah. Wanetah merges with and becomes Manitou Way. Take a Left onto Whenona Dr., following it over the beltline on the ped/bike bridge. Turn Left onto Lumley, which leads directly to Seminole Hwy. Alternately, once on Seminole (if coming out of the Arb, N of the beltline), head up the hill on Seminole and turn Right onto Doncaster Dr., which leads to Whenona. continue as above. (from the south) Seminole to Lumley Rd to Whenona Dr. across the beltline on the pedestrian bridge then Doncaster Dr. to Seminole. For those who are interested to know what work is being done: the bridge is being raised.
