I hate to say this but I would -no, I have been and will continue to, advise my friends and aquainted cyclists to absoultely avoid riding a bicycle in the downtown area, specificcly near state street, friday and saturday night. I say this out of concern for people's safety. Most of us can attest to the fact that being on a bicycle is an invitation for abuse from those already participating in jack-assery.
