When I walked (yes, normally I would have ridden my bike, but today I walked) down State Street today, I noticed that the city had actually removed most of the movable objects, and secured those that were not removed. For example, three large trash cans (each of them representing what I would have considered relatively immovable objects because of their size and material-sort of resembling bulging 55 gallon drums with the exterior covered in concrete-like crushed stone) were actually lashed together with what appeared to be a stainless steel (or some kind of chromed metal) band at least an inch wide. No one will be able to lift those cans as long as they're lashed together, at least not without a crane. Hopefully we won't wee any cranes on State Street this weekend. I didn't actually notice any other movable objects on state street, although I admit I wasn't looking for a newspaper at the time. chuck _______________________________________________ Bikies mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.danenet.org/mailman/listinfo/bikies
