Robbie, what law is this (that bars red-light cameras)? I also thought this was the case, but a search of statutes only yielded up the anti-photo-radar statute:
349.02(3)(b) (b) Notwithstanding sub. (1), the state and local authorities may not use photo radar speed detection to determine compliance with any speed restriction imposed by s. 346.57, 346.58, 346.59, 346.595 or 349.11 or a local ordinance in conformity therewith. The statues cited by this statute are: 346.57 Speed restrictions. 346.58 Special speed restrictions for certain vehicles. 346.59 Minimum speed regulation. (CM can't be photo-radared!) 346.595 Motorcycles and mopeds 349.11 Authority to modify speed restrictions. > -------- Original Message -------- > Subject: Re: [Bikies] Chicago- New cameras target red-light scofflaws > From: "Robbie Webber" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Date: Thu, November 06, 2003 4:18 pm > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > Rep Marlin Schneider passed a law making this tool illegal in Wisconsin. > Yeah, > I know, it stinks. > _______________________________________________ > Bikies mailing list > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > http://www.danenet.org/mailman/listinfo/bikies _______________________________________________ Bikies mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.danenet.org/mailman/listinfo/bikies
