Friends - The survey below is from the League of American Bicyclists (LAB). They would like your opinions on Safe Routes to School. Anyone with any interest in this area is urged to take the survey. It should only take about 5 minutes.
Please forward the info to others in your communities that may also be interested: teachers, school nurses, parents, community activists, health educators, etc. If you would like more information on the research being done, please contact Sami Fournier at LAB. Her contact info is at the bottom of the message. -- Robbie Webber Bicycle Federation of Wisconsin Could you please give us 5 mins or so to fill out the online survey here: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=61442303502 This survey will provide input that will be used to develop a bicycle & pedestrian training curriculum for Middle School teachers who will, in turn, offer bicycle & pedestrian training to their students in conjunction with Safe Routes to School programs. Safe Routes to School (SRTS) programs are usually community-wide efforts to improve engineering, education, training, and enforcement needed to allow children to walk (and bicycle) to school safely in specific communities. You can find out more about Safe Routes to School on our website at: http://www.bikeleague.org/educenter/labsrts.htm While not all of you being asked to complete this survey are involved in a SRTS initiative, your candid answers will help us meet the needs of your fellow teaching colleagues across the nation.
