Babcock seems to have been opened to inbound motor traffic a couple weeks
ago. However, unless they reverse flow in the evening (a hazardous
proposition), it's not going to do anything to alleviate the added afternoon
congestion that the Charter closure will create. Traffic on all streets
exiting the east campus is well-back-up as it is in the later afternoon.
Maybe they'll be working short days to avoid shuffling the Charter gridlock
over to join the Observatory-Park-Langdon gridlock??

Bikies,
There is a problem with detouring north bound traffic to Babcock as
last I knew Babcock was torn up by Biochemistry for utility work in support
of the cogen plant. Is the Babcock work going to be done by Monday?
