At around 2pm on Tuesday I came upon a group of MPD
officers, lookers-on, a coroner and a women's body
laying just off the Isthmus Bike Path at Thorton
Avenue (where the small grouping of rocks sits). The
woman was clearly dead. After the surreal episode one
block from my house on Division Street, I didn't have
the nerve to stop and asked what had happened. I've
looked in the news and have found no mention of this
woman. I've heard rumors that there was a gun on the
scene and that she may have hot herself. Does anyone
know what happened?
