So, if someone is "mainly" dead, do we bury them? No, they have to actually be completely dead. IANAL (nor have I looked at the vehicle code lately), but chances are that right-of-way is determined by something concrete like "a car is finished backing out of a parking spot when it has started forward motion in a normal direction of travel." Otherwise, you end up writing silly stuff into law like "a car is considered fully backed out when 77% of the car's length is visible past the extreme rear of any cars parked on either side of it, or the parking spot markings if there are no cars parked next to it." > So, anyone know where I can find this stuff, without asking an insurance > adjuster? > Call the police department.
