In the vast maze of parking lots on the block sandwiched on the north by Lake Mendota, the south by Langdon, the east by Carroll and the west by Lakelawn, there are two old but beautiful racing bikes lying abandoned next to a green dumpster. The tires are dried out, and no I didn't check the chains and gears for functionality, but I would have rescued them from their sad fate had I not been late to where I was going. A fun and worthwhile fix-up project for those into that sort of thing.
