How do we get thru to bikers who behave like that? Robbie's and the Bike Fed's education program isn't going to reach them. Is it proper to do it thru peer pressure and comment? Should we? Michael Rewey [EMAIL PROTECTED] I've tried that - following them and passing them, and stopping, then catching up at the next one, and passing, and stopping, saying "Nice stop" as they blow through. It rarely works. What was more effective was the Palo Alto police officer ticketing 14 bicyclists in a row for blowing stops, at $175 per incident. He was also ticketing cars so it was fair. Many of them claim to not know that stop signs/lights apply to them. Many complain that it's too hard to start from a stop. I dunno.
