I just got back from voting at the city clerks office. There was a line, but I suspect that the line there was much shorter than any we can expect on Nov 2.

Wisconsin allows you to vote absentee even if you will be in town, so why not avoid the crowd? You can vote in person absentee (is that an oxymoron?) or request an absentee ballot be mailed to you. Call your county or city clerk for information.

Even if you want to partake of the community-building atmosphere that is Election Day at your local polling place, I hope everyone not only votes, but drags neighbors, friends, work mates, and family to the polls as well.

If we want a bike, pedestrian, transit friendly city, state, and country, we need to make our voice heard in the voting booth. And your polling place must be just a short bike ride away....
