For the couple of you who haven't voted yet, I'd like to remind you of the opportunity to write in Tim Wong for county coroner. This is the 30th anniversary of the write-in campaign that resulted in around 1200 votes around the county, all on a budget of under $10--how's that for vote efficiency? The campaign hammered hard at the incumbent's seeming conflict of interest. At the time, he owned two restaurants. Wong denied there was an actual conflict, but reminded citizens to "watch what you eat there." The campaign got the attention of the Crap Times, which wrote a front-page story about the campaign, which assuredly brought in many of the votes, especially from outlying areas (three votes from the Town of Albion??). Be sure to watch the official campaign movie, "Mr. Wong Is Doomed to Die," and do your utmost to Abolish Death in Our Lifetime. Put Wong in the Morgue!!
