Subject: WORBA/CORP news for bike professionals and sponsors.

Hello bike businesses and WORBA sponsors.

All of your support has helped complete the first expert loops in Blue
Mound South Park, and has pushed fast flowing smooth single track to
the E. side of Pleasure Valley.

Please help maintain the progress and broadcast the following dates to
your associates and customers. They are listed with details on the
www.worga.org calendar. Good turnout at the next few work days will
mean a considerable addition to area riding for all until we increase
the frequency of work days later in the season.

June 4: National Trails Day. We're having a BMSP (Blue Mound) work day
followed by ride, party and play.

June 5: Quarry Park Work Day. 10 AM - 4 PM with riding after. Details
are on the www.worga.org calendar. Please join.

June 11: REI Madison and YMCA bike festival.

June 25: BMSP trail work day.

Other news:

Thank you Whole Foods! Whole Foods Madison supplied 24 hard working
park volunteers May 31, and a great feast afterward. The hard working
gang made added a lot of trail in Pleasure Valley.

John M. has volunteered to lead the Fitchburg trail project. Thanks
John! This effort is special because of it's connnection to the
Madison bike paths and making Madison to Blue Mound State Park an
extremely bike friendly area. Please help make your customers and
associates aware of this effort and contact us if you can help and
support this metro area trail project. Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED] and
[EMAIL PROTECTED] regarding Fitchburg single track.

The Friends of Blue Mound State Park have given us a grant for
machinery rental in order to accelerate the progress of the park
master plan. We still need help getting insurance for this because
rental firms and insurance companies are not geared toward a
short-term policy for a club. Ideas (and money) are most welcome.

Always check the WORBA calendar should dates or details change.

Thank you.
