Here's a copy of message a friend of mine sent me about the "ACT III"
ride that he participated in last year.  I asked him if the ride was
limited to just Madison folks.  This is his reply.

Absolutely no limits - there are folks from Milwaukee, Chicago and other
places around Wisconsin.  We also have some folks who come here from
other states.  There are a lot with Madison connections, but everyone is
welcome...

This evolved 2 years ago from the Minneapolis to Chicago rides (now
defunct), that had rather high overhead.  Last year over 88% of funds
donated went to AIDS Network - a much better rate than the
Minneapp-Chicago rides.

There are also lots of great crew - including folks who, with no fanfare,
rented a truck for a week and helped haul gear from camp to camp (a
non-trivial donation).
