I just found out more about the crash that happened
yesterday (June 30th) near Cottage Grove. I have not
seen anything in the media yet, but because I
personally know this person, I wanted to share at
least some basic information with all of you.
A young woman was biking out in the Cottage Grove area
and was hit from behind by a vehicle. The crash
caused severe head/brain trama. She is in a permanent
deep coma at UW Hospital right now. Apparently the
doctors have indicated that there is no chance of
recovery.
I do not know many other details but may learn new
things once I talk to the family again.
