Dear Bike spending advocates. First it seems that your political statement is against greenhouse gases and motor vehicles. But then it is clear it is just about how the bloated "pie" is divided. Just remember when you make a pact with the State, factors other than needs fulfillment and prices will be just as much a part for your project as it is has been for the fifty years of concrete. All you want is solidarity for your pet government program against others. Both are political in the same ways. Maybe you should appeal to some "bike path builders asphalt and concrete lobby" --that is where you might impress your representatives.
