Bikies, please note that there is an unmarked hazard on the bike path
adjacent to North Shore Drive, right at the western terminus of the new
Missing Link path. On Thursday I noticed that the contractor had
removed a section of the path asphalt about 10 feet long, 18 inches
wide and about 6 inches deep. This gap extends into the path from the
edge of the new concrete crossing, narrowing the path at that point. It
is completely unmarked--no barricades, no cones, no marking
tape--nothing.
