Adopting and confirming the City of Madison Comprehensive Plan.

The comprehensive plan is winding its way through City Commissions on
its way to the common council.  There are a number of excellent
bike-related suggestions in the plan, which amongh other items, can be

Substitute Providing for a change on the Official Map of the City of
Madison, which will
add a proposed public street reservation for the widening of North and
South Broom
Street right-of-way to increase the width of the terrace, sidewalks, and

Report re. Parking on the Capitol Square

TPC and PBMVC reviewed the change in the lane configuration around
Capitol Square.  There may still be a chance to improve the area for
bicyclists.  DCC has reccommended the addition of more bicycle parking,
and Ald. Webber has requested some better lane markings to make sure
Motorists are using the shared lane correctly.
