Be careful out there people! After having abandoned bicycling for the last few weeks (taking the bus instead) I thought (or rather didn't think) today was the day to get the bike out. Within 2 blocks of my house I went down - skidding on the black ice (Toepfer Avenue at 7:45am). Luckily no traffic and no serious injury (well, it throbbed a bit today and through two layers of undamaged clothing I have some road rash!).
