Presented by: Dave Ryther from Williamson Bikes and Fitness
Let this session help you find the bike that fits you best! Dave
Ryther from Williamson Bikes and Fitness will discuss the differences
between mountain bikes, road bikes and hybrids. Learn about the
features of each bike and how they should fit...all that will you
decide which bike meets your needs.
Tuesday, March 28, 2006: General Bike Maintenance
Presented by: Dan from Middleton Cycle and Fitness
Get your bike out of winter storage and ready for the season ahead.
Dan will talk about proper techniques for adding air to the tires,
oiling, checking brakes, cables and spokes and a general overall
safety check up. Dan will also show simple maintenance tips to keep
your bike in top shape for the biking season.
Tuesday, April 4, 2006: Road Rules, Safety, and Injury Prevention
Presented by: Karla Bock and Kris Jensen from UW Health Sports
Medicine Center
Karla Bock will teach you the rules of the road for a cyclist along
with other bike safety topics to make sure you and those with you
return home safely. Kris Jensen will give you helpful information
on what you can do to prevent injuries that are common to cyclists.

Ali will share information on family rides and area trails in and
around Madison.
Tuesday, April 18, 2006: Gadgets and Gear
Presented by: Sara Crass from the Trek Bicycle Store
Why do cyclists wear gloves on 90 degree summer days? Find out the
function of the gear and gadgets many cyclists use. Sara Crass will
show and explain the latest in cycling gear and gadgets.
