As a worker in the health care industry (a competitor to GHC) I can
say with some experience that health care organizations will listen
to their physicians above all (when/if their physicians desire a
change)... in fact it may have been physician input that
concentrated these therapies in Fitchburg.  You need to take your
case to your physician and have him/her make arrangements for your
transportation and/or get approval for the therapies to be done at
more convenient locations.

Of course, there are plenty of alternative locations for this type
of diagnostic imaging and therapy conveniently located downtown -
operated by GHC's competition.  It doesn't help you for your
current situation, but may help you choose at the next open
enrollment.  HMOs, PPOs, and medical insurance companies WANT
active bicycling lifestyles in their pools of coverage.  A
bicyclists' departure from their coverage umbrella should be
noticed.
