More on the films: This month's "feature film" will be O Caminho das Nuvens ("The Middle of the World"); Brazil 2003. Based on the true story of a poor family who biked across Brazil to Rio de Janeiro and the promise of a better life.  The "Pre-Feature Strangeness" will be One Got Fat: Bicycle Safety; U.S. 1963. Imagine the cast of the original Planet of the Apes (but lower budget) biking through 60s Suburbia, with a nod to Agatha Christy's And Then There Were None (Ten Little Indians).  A campy and disturbing journey into the drug-crazed world of 1960s bike safety education.

What's this all about, anyway?: Because it's winter in Wisconsin and none of us are getting out on our bikes as much as we'd like.  So what's the next best thing to riding in the slushy, sandy, salty, icy, bitter cold?  That's right – getting together with other frustrated bikers to drink a few beers and watch movies about biking in a cozy warm space.

Other questions or have ideas for future film nights?: Call Jeff at Revolution Cycles (244-0009).
