Mayor Cieslewicz and Alder Judy Olson extend their invitation to you and
other stakeholders to discuss the future of this important crossroads.
Other than the installation of railroad signals and gates for the
establishment of a Quiet Zone, the City does not have a project identified
or scheduled for this intersection. However there have been issues raised
about the intersection including its impact on future redevelopments and
concerns regarding bike crashes at the railroad tracks.
At the meeting City staff will provide a large aerial photograph of the
intersection and a graphic with the recent crash history.
We hope that you can attend and look forward to meeting with you regarding
this intersection.
