Regarding the cost or fairness/unfairness of registration fees:
Another argument for Community Car!
I know that they have a car at UW Hospital now as well as another
building in the central campus that I can't remember - near the
Egineering campus, I think, but on the north side of University.
They have plans to add additional cars around the city, and they have
had inquiries from areas well outside the downtown, near east, and near
west.
I know this sounds like a commercial, but really, it is a great option
for people that want access to a car, but don't plan to drive all that much.
