Speaking of difficult to navigate bike lanes, I attempted to ride the "Bridge Out" section of the West Corridor Bike Path about 6 PM last night. I figured the workers were gone and their machinery wasn't running, so it couldn't be all that bad, right?
Wrong. ... big slabs of concrete, 4 feet of sand and dirt, rebar sticking up every which way. I don't advise anyone else attempting to do that. The detour route is much faster and less hazardous, even with the deathmobiles.
