honchos, City Parks honchos, alders, county supervisors, miscellaneous
other bigwigs, and the rabble, including: bicycle commuters &
recreationalists, unicyclists, rollerbladers, skateboarders, walkers,
runners, pram pushers, kayakers, canoeists, et cetera, et
ceterahhhhhhhh.....
What: Ribbon Cutting Dedication of a new, wonderful example of
appropriate and much needed urban infrastructure: AN UNDERPASS BENEATH
ONE OF THE BUSIEST ROADS IN THE CITY, East Johnson St., connecting
neighbors & neighborhoods with a gem of a park--Tenney Park.
When: 4PM on Wednesday April 26,
2006---TODAY!!!!!!!!!
Where: Johnson Street underpass adjacent to Tenney
Park
How: Hand, scissors, cutting, ribbon.

A personal note: This is important stuff. I know that Ed and
others have worked their tails off for this to come to fruition. Ed in
particular has been working on this for at least as long as I've lived
in Madison (early 90s). I hope everyone can make it out there to show
