We have a position opening for a bicycle and pedestrian coordinator for our southeastern regional office. That area includes 6 counties in the southeast part of the state bordering the Chicago metro area. The largest city and county is Milwaukee. The office itself is located in the City of Waukesha. This is the only full-time regional bike/ped coordinator we have in Wisconsin. The person will be involved in most of the project design meetings and will be responsible for the planning of projects related to bicycle and pedestrian accommodations. There will be lots of interaction with local officials on local projects as well. This area is a non-attainment area for air emissions.
