I am trying to procure for a veteran mechanic (25yrs) the last 20 minutes of this year's Tour de France. He recorded all of the coverage except that portion. If any of you could help complete this bit he would be very appreciative as would I. I will be out of town until Monday but will check my mail when I return. It's bittersweet coverage at best but after speaking with an avid cyclist/customer that happens to be a doctor today at the shop, I encourage you all to speak with your medical friends to get the technical/clinical information about Floyd's situation and draw your own conclusions. It seems as though there are general untruths being printed about the tests and the imbalances in his chemistry. Did you know that testosterone patches are commonly used to aid in recovery after some stages? This is not illegal as I understand but the epitestosterone(sp) must also be elevated to maintain the acceptable ratio.(pill form) Well, anyway, I found this 20 minute disclosure very interesting and I hope in the future the tests and the rules are more absolute before the powers that be start pointing fingers and ruining careers and the sport.
     Wear out that bike stuff!!
Sincerely, Gary Hostetler
