When Randall O'Toole spoke here a year or two ago, Eileen was in the front row and sounded like she was substantially in agreement with his views. O'Toole is strongly opposed to light rail transit (though he claims to be a rail enthusiast) and seems generally opposed to most forms of transit and non-motorized transportation (though he also claims to be a cyclist).
It's entirely plausible that Eileen subscribes to the belief "that the invisible hand of the marketplace is always the best solution" with regard to transportation issues.
