I just talked to Chuck Johnson and the Bike Fed is going to send out
a press release about the crash and the search for the driver and
announcing that we will accept donations for Lori...stay tuned...it
should be coming out very soon.

All Senate:
On Saturday October 7, 2006 Lori Whitney one of the
Assembly mailroom employees was injured in a serious
accident. She was hit by a vehicle while riding her
bike and was admitted to the intensive care unit at
U.W. Hospital. She in presently out of intensive care
but the extent of her injuries are not known at this
time. Because many Senate staff are former Assembly
staff, I wanted to notify you of this accident and
Lori's condition. Unfortunately, Lori's only mode of
transportation (her bicycle) was destroyed in the
accident. If you would like to donate to help replace
her bike please contact the Assembly Sergeant-at-Arms
office or Chuck Johnson at the Assembly/Senate
mailroom (266-1006). Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
