The DOT will be putting together their budget before the end of the month (the other agencies have all submitted theirs already and DOT is just waiting for more info from the federal government)...and I don't think that the election has much to do with that per se...unless Green is elected and, as the first order of business, replaces the DOT secretary. In which case we'll be lobbying a new DOT secretary asap.

For my part I will try to send a letter before Nov 7th, but if not, it matters more that bicyclists and pedestrian advocates KEEP UP pressure (meaning send a letter out and get some friends to too) for the bike paths/pedestrian improvements than when we send the letter.
