Dear Secretary Busalacchi,
I’m writing to express my outrage that Wisconsin is using only a
fraction of its federal money for transportation enhancements on
bicycle/pedestrian projects and is using the rest on other projects
such as highways!
We have enough highways and the congestion they invite! (Not to mention
the maintenance costs!)
That bike lanes, paths and trails would go unfunded as a result is
absolutely unacceptable.
We’re talking such a tiny slice of the transportation pie to begin
with. That part of it is still being withheld sends a huge message:
Bike and walk elsewhere. In Wisconsin we only want you in cars!
