So, Governor Doyle thinks bikies don't merit a miniscule $3mil bump for
their preferred mode of transportation? Well, then I say we reframe
the issue as protection from "big oil" and see if he respects the
people concerned about that.

Let's really stick it to the Governor here. Forward the following
message across Wisconsin:

--

Dear Citizen of Wisconsin,

A while back, Governor Doyle made a show of investigating “Big Oil” for
price gouging. He accomplished nothing.

Today, Governor Doyle is turning his back on a real opportunity to help
protect the pocketbooks of Wisconsin citizens from “Big Oil”. How? By
underutilizing federal transportation funds allocated for alternative
transportation modes. Funding these alternative transportation modes
could significantly reduce the size of price spikes the next time we
face a gasoline supply shortage.

Governor Doyle’s administration is currently preparing its next budget
proposal, so now is the time to call for a change.

Please tell Jim Doyle today that you want some real protection from
gasoline price spikes. Tell him to fully utilize Federal funding for
alternative modes of transportation.
