room) for a guest seminar presented by Jim White, Fellow of Institute of
Arctic and Alpine Research (INSTAAR),
Professor of Geological Sciences, and Director of the Environmental Studies
Program at the
University of Colorado at Boulder. Dr. White is on the Science Advisory
Board of the Ice Core Drilling Services.
What everyone needs to know about climate change, and how to tell your
friends, neighbors, and even strangers. Ever ask yourself: Is climate
changing? Are we causing climate to change? The answers are yes, and yes.
But how do we know that? And how do I translate that darn Science-ese into
English? Come hear the answers and learn what everyone should know about
their home planet. The times (and climate) are changing fast. We're all part
of the problem, but we're also the solution. We all need to be informed, so
come educate yourself and learn how to educate others.
