I don't drive much, and when I do it is usually at non-peak times.  The
holidaze seem to make all times "peak" and so it is pretty shocking to me
lately to see so much bad driving behavior.    

Thanks for the newspaper article.  Madison needs to continue to do even more of
the kind of infrastructure items listed in the Chicago newspaper story.  

Everyone seems to like enforcement.  What is the excuse for not doing it?  It
always comes down to funding priorities.  Parking enforcement is a self-funded
program, so why can't traffic enforcement also be self-funded?  Some red-light
running cameras, a couple dedicated patrol cars with speed guns seem like they
would pay for themselves if the fines were high enough.
