Reminds me of this story that happened a few years ago: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg01895.html
Cyclist gets buzzed, sees the motorist pull into a driveway shortly thereafter, goes to talk to the motorist - gets a citation for disorderly conduct (for spitting on the a ford bronco), no mention of the Motorist's traffic violation in the police report. The police said they couldn't issue a citation for the traffic violation because the motorist did not confirm the bicyclist's side of the story. On the current story, there's still a chance the judge will throw out the citation for lack of evidence. -----Original Message----- Here is an interesting article about an SUV that struck a cyclist, who had the right of way, and the cyclist was given a citation. http://www.wistv.com/Global/story.asp?S=6128719 _______________________________________________ Bikies mailing list [email protected] http://www.danenet.org/mailman/listinfo/bikies
