Just got this request from the Tim Gruber’s Campaign manager:

---

Greetings all,

You saw the election results, Tim is in the lead but it's close.  So we
need to work as hard as we can to bring this one home. Tim has worked
hard to make Madison even more bike and pedestrian friendly (and he's
endorsed by the BTA!).  Here's something you can do to help Tim out:

Lit drop* for Tim Gruber this Saturday (aka March 3) from 10 am till
noon at the home of County Board Supervisor Al Matano at 3745 Ross
Street, Madison WI 53705.  Al's house is on the corner of Glenway and
Ross...and volunteers can enter via the screen door on Glenway.

If you can make it, please e-mail me or call me (262-443-3136).  If
Saturday doesn't work for you, we can arrange for you to pick up a lit
route in the district.

Thanks!  Just a bit over a month to go...

*A lit drop involves picking up a route that includes a map and lit
pieces and then you'd go and put literature in the doors/door
handles/etc (but never in mailboxes) to all the places on the route.
It'd take about an hour or so.  You wouldn't knock on doors or anything
like that...~l
