Howdy Bikies,

This is my first post. :)

Is anyone interested in helping table at Bike-O-Rama this week-end? The Bicycle Federation of Wisconsin and the City of Madison share a table. All it involves is knowing about bikes. We print off a cheat sheet for people that volunteer and staff the table with commonly asked questions and answers. I have one person staffing the table during all the time slots, but I'd love to have two people at the table so it goes faster for people and so people can get up and walk around the expo if they'd like.

Times I could use some help... Call me at 608-251-4456 or email me today ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) to sign up for one of the time slots below.

(Tomorrow)
Friday: Join me... (Della Haugen) from noon to 4pm
Friday: Join BFW Volunteer Colleen Hayes from 4pm to 9pm

Saturday: Join John Rider from 8am to 11am
Saturday: Join me... (Della Haugen) from11am to 3pm
Saturday: Join Arthur Ross from 3pm to 6pm
Saturday: Join Robbie Weber from 6pm to 9pm

Sunday: Join Steve Meiers from 10am to 2pm

On another note:

I'd like to challenge all the Bikies in the Madison area to go our to eat at one or more of the 9 restaurants listed below and designate a portion of your bill to go to the
Bicycle Federation of Wisconsin. For more info read below.

Community Shares of Wisconsin

In coordination with its member organizations and 9 local restaurants, Community Shares of Wisconsin will host its 2nd Annual Share-A-Meal event on Tuesday, March 13th! Participating restaurants will donate a portion of their proceeds to Community Shares and its member organizations (including the Bicycle Federation of Wisconsin) if you dine out at one of the participating restaurants and make a designation! It's a wonderful excuse to eat out at a great restaurant and support 53 non profit organizations working to build social and economic equity and a healthy environment! Just say you'd like to make your designation go to Bicycle Federation of Wisconsin.

Go to the event web site for more details--<http://www.share-a-meal.org>http://www.share-a-meal.org --or call Community Shares at 608-256-1066.
