It looks the DNR is taking responsibility for plowing the Capital City trail. I rode a part of this morning, and got the response below.
Its still kinda crunchy and bumpy, though. Darin - thanks for your interest in the Capital city State Trail. I apologize for the late response, but I was waiting to hear when crews would be out to clear the trail. Because of the blizzard followed by winter storm, things were backed up. I was notified this morning that the trail has been cleared and is open. I would caution for icy and slippery spots considering the warming weather ahead which will more that likely freeze at night.
